BHAlba: Scottish Seagulls

About us

The Albas were set up some years ago by the two Tony's and Graham. Many of us lived in Scotland for many years unaware of The Albas existence - until that chance meeting at Carlisle Station.

We now have about 50 members scattered throughout Scotland. Apart from a common interest in the Albion, many of us also follow Scottish teams. So the person next to you at Tynecastle or Love Street might be a fellow Alba.

Chris acts as club treasurers, Tony P as membership secretary. However, the club runs pretty informally. So if anyone ever wants to volunteer to organise anything, don't be shy.

Most communication is by email, and the Yahoo E-Group. Tony P tries to maintain an up-to-date address list, so contact him if you have any problems..

The Albas usually sponsor a player - although this does seem to be the kiss of death to the unfortunate recipient. There is usually a sponsors dinner. We also get to keep and raffle a signed shirt at the end of the season.

We travel to most away games in the Norf - anywhere from Crewe to Hull . We usually travel by train or car, but have also hired mini-buses, and flown. Arrangements are made through the e-group, but we try to keep the web-site updated with the latest plans.

Occasionally, we make a block booking for match tickets. If you want to be included, please make sure you have your Away Membership Scheme details available.
